The long awaited reunion of friends and families to enjoy a funny musical comedy show named El Re-encuentro, The reunion.
This Memorial Day Weekend marked the beginning of live shows throughout Southern California. El Re-encuentro, The reunion, as the name states, had the purpose of reuniting friends and families again, after over 2 years of not seeing each other because of the lock down.
The show was filled with joy, optimism, music, comedy and impersonations of famous Latin stars. Actress Jackie Torres impersonated Mexican singer Yuri. Leonardo Rivas impersonated Juan Gabriel. Roberto Zapien impersonated Tin-Tan’s carnal, Marcelo. Mario Ramirez Reyes, El Comodin, impersonated Cantinflas, Tin-Tan, Resortes and La India Maria. Ramirez was also the director of the comedy show.
For over 2 hours people sang and laughed to their favorite stars and shared a precious time not seen since the lock down. The event was sponsored by the Diocese of California of the Old Catholic Church of Bellflower, California.
