This week is the launch of Carmen Miranda Web Series on YouTube but make no mistake, it is not about the Brazilian actress and singer famous in the 30’s and 40’s, it is about a young woman named after her. The series presents the obstacles Latinos face in America from a comedic perspective.  Melissa Rivera, who also wrote the story, is Carmen Miranda, Jorge Figueroa plays her brother & Jackie Torres her overbearing mom.
