Jackie Torres is an accomplished, fully bilingual Hollywood actress, director, producer, educator, and author who has successfully conquered both the English and Spanish entertainment markets. Dedicated to telling uplifting, character-driven stories of the Hispanic experience, her artistic journey began early in Puerto Rico, where she performed in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade alongside Rita Moreno. She subsequently earned her Master’s degree in Public Communications before stepping into major television production.

Guided by strong personal integrity, Jackie produced the #1 Telemundo hit Marcano…El Show—which hosted Ricky Martin’s solo launch and early breakout appearances by then-rising talents like Benicio del Toro and Marc Anthony, alongside music icons like José José. She also produced the record-breaking family sitcom Con lo que Cuenta este País, where world boxing champion Macho Camacho notably fought the show’s main villain.

In Hollywood, she produced the hit clean-comedy show La hora Lunática, featuring legends such as Celia Cruz, Tito Puente, Julio Iglesias, and Esai Morales, while directing the acclaimed feature films The Price of the American Dream and King of East LA.

As an actress, her screen credits include Black Monday, Bosch, ER, Torchwood, and After Words, alongside major national commercials for brands like McDonald’s, Toyota, and Verizon. Her stage work includes Don Juan Tenorio, The Passion of the Christ, and The Illegal, and she is the author of Save Me First.

A dedicated educator, Jackie taught public communications at Loyola Marymount University (Upward Bound) and currently serves as a Standardized Patient Educator at the UCLA School of Medicine, training actors to prepare future doctors.
